This painting I created for a show at Origin Coffee shop in Tulsa Oklahoma. I grew up in Oklahoma and having been gone from there for so long I wanted to create a work spacificly for the area that I grew up in. I also wanted to experiment with something I had never tried. This piece was created on 300lb Hot Press Watercolor paper. I started this piece by staining the background using freshly brewed coffee.
